Yield Signs and Uncontrolled Intersections
- Check rear-view mirrors 2.
- On approach, look right, left and ahead for cross traffic, approaching traffic and or pedestrians 3.
- Decelerate, if necessary 4.
- Brake, if necessary 5.
- Select a lower gear, if necessary 6.
- Proceed, if safe 7.
- Stop, if necessary 8.
- Apply the handbrake, if applicable 9.
- Select neutral, if applicable 10.
- Select gear, if necessary 11.
- Observe 360 degrees , if necessary 12.
- Release the handbrake, if applicable 13.
- Move off if it is safe to do so
