Torque Driving Academy was established in 2009 by Hassan Lombard and has its base in Surrey Estate, Athlone. It was started as a 1-man operation and has since grown into a thriving business.

Reza instructs in the Northern Suburbs, Lindsay instructs in the Southern Suburbs & Cape Flats and Hassan runs the Learner’s classes and does the instruction for automatic cars and for learners who have their own cars.

We provide a holistic service which starts at taking you to make your booking and ends at you passing your driver’s test!
